The City of Clarence-Rockland, and Their Opportunity have teamed up to create the Clarence-Rockland Subsidy Program - a dedicated fund aimed at supporting Clarence-Rockland residents to pursue their sport and recreation dreams. With a core mission to eliminate the costs of registration, this initiative seeks to foster inclusive participation and promote opportunities for Clarence-Rockland residents to enjoy the transformative power of sport and recreation by joining city run programs.

Who Can Apply?
The Clarence-Rockland Subsidy is open to all qualifying residents of Clarence-Rockland
The application process is simple and can be completed in 3 easy steps.

This application form must be completed with the intention to enroll in a Clarence-Rockland city run program. If you are applying for a child, this form must be completed by the parent or guardian.

Within the application form you will need to provid all the required family information, including income verification; aswell able to identify which city run program you are interested in registering for.

Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your application.​​

The following is required prior to submitting your application

Your contact information (name, postal code, telephone number, and email address)

Your first name, last name, gender, school and date of birth (and child information if applying for a child)

Contact information of the city run program that you would like to enroll into. This includes the start/end dates, the length of the program and name of the program.

The amount of support you are requesting.

Financial Proof Requirement: The most recent Notice of Assessment (NOA), or Canada child benefit (CCB) available through Canada Revenue Agency OR you must submit your 3 most recent & consecutive paystubs is required.

To qualify for a program subsidy, families must fall within
the financial criteria as per Revenue Canada’s Low income measure (LIM)
thresholds by income source and household size.
What Happens Next?
After submitting, Their Opportunity will review your application and connect with the the city representative for the program you provided to ensure registration availability. You can expect to receive a notification from Their Opportunity regarding the status of your application as well as guidance on next steps within 5 business days.
