JoAnne is a Senior Delivery Project Executive at IBM Canada Ltd. She volunteers constantly in multiple community opportunities. For 10 years she volunteered as a Meals on Wheels Driver for Whitby Community Care. Her love of sport has provided many volunteer opportunities with soccer, lacrosse, hockey, baseball, and speed skating.

Avery Flanagan – Director at Large
Avery Flanagan is a Police Officer in the city of Ottawa. He is the recipient of the certificate of Merit and the certificate of Valour both acknowledging his bravery and dedication to public protection. Avery is highly involved with many youth organizations including; RNJ Youth Services and drop-in centres with the Canadian Mental Health Association. Through the Ottawa Police, Avery is an ambassador for youth and sports in the community.

Jay Conahan is a police officer in Ottawa. He is a family man who loves to give back to his community. Through Their Opportunity’s core values Jay really feels he can “reach kids before they need to be rescued.”
Joey Theberge – Director at Large
Joey grew up, played junior hockey, and completed his undergrad and masters degree in Ottawa. He is the owner of Ottawa’s leading elite urban residence building company. Passion drives Joey to help his community become a better place to live. He is equally as passionate about giving children the opportunity to participate in sports and give back to their community. Having first-hand experience coaching and participating in various sports, Joey knows the many benefits youth gain while enjoying sports.

Judy is a leader that looks for ways to inspire people, grow businesses, and ultimately make the world better. She is passionate about philanthropy and networking with a purpose and has been a part of many initiatives including co-chairing a project for 500 IBM staff to lead innovating activities in 150 GTA classrooms.
Ryan Gill – Director at Large
Ryan is President & Partner of Cult Collective. As a marketing and advertising expert, Ryan has led projects for blue chip clients across North America. Ryan Gill lives by this quote: “If you’re your authentic self, you have no competition.” Ryan is also strongly committed to his community, philanthropy, and charity works around the world. He serves on a city planning committee, sits on boards for the United Way, his company actively volunteers at a homeless shelter in the city of Calgary, and he also helped found a charity organization called Project Smile that operates under the Cult umbrella.
