Channel 12: Dimes 4 Time 2016

Starting January 11th and continuing until February 19th elementary schools across Durham Region will engage in a fundraising campaign where they will collect change (coins) in the classroom to bring “Change” to less fortunate children. Each school is encouraged to send up to 30 students to represent their school at the “Dimes 4 Time” assembly at the City of Oshawa Recreation Complex Field House

An expected 600 children will have a day of fun and learning as they discover the importance of generosity and giving back to the community. These lucky children will also participate in a variety of fun sport activities, including floor hockey, basketball, soccer and much more!

Their Opportunity wants the schools to learn the value of teamwork, generosity, and helping others. For six weeks, the loose change they collect can create change for children and our community!
